*Getting around by foot from this location is easy, with a few moderate hills to consider.
*Don’t want to walk? Staunton’s Downtown Trolley picks up a block away at Gypsy Hill Park and makes a continuous 30-minute loop for just 25 cents per ride!
*Public transportation outside the Staunton area is provided by the BRITE Bus system.
*Street parking around town is plentiful, some metered and some not. Be mindful that the historic town’s streets are somewhat narrow, many are one-way, and turning right on red is prohibited in a few places. Check local websites for events that may close streets or divert traffic.
A few important things to note:
*We are a 100% Non-Smoking/Vaping and Pet Free property. Smoking/Vaping is not allowed anywhere on our property at all, inside or out.
*Out of consideration to our guests with pet allergies, we do not accept pets of any kind. We are sorry for any inconvenience.
*If you prefer lodging without the risk of hearing your neighbors from time to time, then our property may not be the best fit for you. Also, Staunton’s quaint charm includes the occasional sounds of the train, which comes through the historic station located downtown. Please be aware that you may hear this during your stay.
