A few nights in The Bohemian Suite will excite your inner artist and wash away your cares! Colorful cushions, pillows, and ottomans offer a variety of cozy living room seating options in true avant-garde style. Relax with a book or snuggle up for an afternoon nap in the roomy nook, then express your creativity in the fully equipped kitchen. Serve up that culinary masterpiece with casual flare from TV trays or at the oversized coffee table. Take advantage of the bathroom fully stocked with luxury toiletries to wash away the dust of a fun day downtown. Position the suite’s rolling Netflix, Hulu, and YouTube-programmed smart TV wherever you like, and settle in for a pleasurable night’s rest in the fun bedroom replete with king size bed, nature accents, and quirky, soulful decor. Your extra guest will be equally comfortable in the memory foam equipped queen sleeper sofa, and all will wake for another day of eventful discoveries! Take a minute to charge up your electric car in the parking lot around the back of the building before you go.

Our location is walking distance from downtown antique stores, boutiques, restaurants, cafe’s, wine tasting rooms, museums, movie and performing arts theaters, etc.
If you don’t want to walk, the Staunton Downtown Trolley offers a fun way to explore the city of Staunton with no worries about parking, directions, or getting lost! It will pick you up right in front of Hotel 24 South (only one block from our house), and for only 25 cents per ride, you can ride all over our beautiful downtown district!
For those with cars, there is plenty of street parking around Staunton and a couple of public paid parking lots.
A FEW IMPORTANT THINGS TO CONSIDER BEFORE BOOKING THE BOHEMIAN SUITE:
We are a 100% Non-Smoking/Vaping and Pet Free property. Smoking/Vaping is not allowed anywhere on our property at all, inside or out. And out of consideration to our guests with pet allergies, we do not accept pets of any kind. We are sorry for any inconvenience.
It is also important to remember that this is a multi-unit building, not a single family home. There are 4 other beautifully renovated Airbnb units, plus a full time tenant in our lovely basement apartment. All guests will be asked to respect the space and be courteous of others. That being said, please understand that you may have neighbors above, below, or next to you visiting at the same time as you, and as with any multi-unit spaces, you may hear the comings and goings of other guests from time to time. It is also important to note that there will be a moderate amount of stairs to climb (just a few to the front porch and the one flight up to the second floor apartments).
Also, while there is always ample parking on our street, and even directly in front of our house, it is not reserved parking and you may find that you need to park a few houses farther down. This is common all over our city. We will have a parking pass waiting for you in your unit which you must use as the parking on our street is posted at 2hrs only without it. **PARKING PASSES MUST BE RETURNED UPON DEPARTURE OR YOUR SECURITY FEE WILL BE FORFEITED** as Staunton will not Re-Issue parking passes to us if lost. If you have a SMALL car and choose to park in the small parking lot we just added in the back of the house, after parking your car, you will need to walk up a slight incline back up to the front of the house to access your apartment. Please be careful as the driveway is very narrow beside the house to the parking area. Unfortunately, because of the narrowness of the driveway and the limited turnaround space in our lot, no large vehicles will be able to park there. We recommend parking in front if possible.
It is usually the most convenient option for our guests.
We want all guests to have the most ideal stay possible, so if you find that you need accommodations that allow for smoking or pets anywhere inside or outside of the property, if you prefer a single family home where there is no risk of hearing your neighbors from time to time, or if you are not comfortable with climbing stairs or walking a short distance from your car to the house, then our property may not be the best fit for you.
**Privacy Disclosure: For the safety of our guests and our staff Staunton stays has Ring monitoring cameras set up in TWO locations:
1. Ring camera is monitoring and capturing live video and audio the front door entrance.
2. Ring camera is monitoring and capturing live video and audio the back parking area.

For the comfort of all our guests, there is strict NO SMOKING and No Pets policy both in and outside the property. If you require either smoking or to have a pet with you, then unfortunately our place will not work at this time. Please respect our other guests and adhere to Quiet hrs between 10pm and 9am.
